TL;DR

Senior Sales Engineer (Energy Storage): Developing technically optimized energy storage solutions for the DACH region with an accent on solution design and technical contract negotiation. Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Erlangen or Berlin, Germany

What you will do

  • Translate customer requirements into optimized technical energy storage proposals in cooperation with EMEA sales teams.
  • Provide deep technical expertise on storage platforms and guide product configuration.
  • Lead technical aspects of the sales process, including solution design and contractor evaluation.
  • Coordinate product readiness, availability, and pricing with Product Management, Manufacturing, and Procurement.
  • Capture customer technical and application requirements to shape future product roadmaps.
  • Manage the technical handover of transacted deals to the Project Execution teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a similar technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the power industry.
  • Experience in energy storage, solar, or other power generation (e.g., EPC works).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Matlab, Salesforce, and CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of local standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
