TL;DR

Senior Customer Solutions Engineer (Enterprise Software): Providing post-sales technical expertise for the installation and implementation of enterprise software with an accent on technical advisory and partner enablement. Focus on delivering complex system configurations, ensuring scalability according to standards, and bridging the gap between customers and product management.

Location: Remote in Spain (Madrid or Barcelona). Travel requirements up to 50%.

What you will do

  • Act as a product expert and trusted advisor for post-sales installation, implementation, and servicing.
  • Deliver highly technical presentations and training to customers and partners to build their independence.
  • Collaborate with Support and Lab teams to research and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Guide clients in the setup, configuration, and administration of products to ensure best practices.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collect and share customer feedback with product management to drive future enhancements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a related Information Technology position.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Consulting, or team leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience in development, application lifecycle, or change management.
  • Senior-level skills in Java, .NET, Web, and IBM i application development.
  • Proficiency in database technologies such as Oracle, SQL, and DB2.
  • Experience with i5/OS, Windows, and/or Linux OS.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in travel-oriented positions.
