VP of Finance

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 annually

hirify.global provides personalized digital mental health services for young people aged 13–25 through its Soluna behavioral health service.

What you will do

• Lead monthly management accounts, board reporting, annual reporting, audits, and financial controls for the US operating subsidiary.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cash management, liquidity, working capital, and profitability planning.
• Manage US–UK cross-border finance operations, including intercompany agreements, transfer pricing, foreign exchange exposure, and IFRS consolidation.
• Lead financial pricing and commercial structuring for private and public sector RFPs, including contract compliance and public sector audits.
• Partner with the UK Group CFO, executive leadership, external auditors, and tax advisors on strategic and governance decisions.
• Lead and develop the US finance team while automating reporting, accounting processes, and financial systems integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior finance leadership.
• Strong experience in controllership, accounting, taxation, regulatory compliance, financial modeling, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, public company governance, risk management, US GAAP, IFRS, multi-currency consolidations, and intercompany transactions.
• Executive-level business partnering, communication, stakeholder management, people leadership, and commercial decision-making skills.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems; experience using AI and financial technology to improve reporting and analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience in software, healthcare, or professional services.
• Experience with public sector procurement, government contract pricing, complex invoicing, state and federal reporting, and public sector financial audits.
