Senior Finance Manager – Operations (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 base salary annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Serve as the primary finance partner to manufacturing operations, advising on cost performance, efficiency, and profitability.
• Analyze production volume, capacity utilization, labor efficiency, and make-or-buy decisions.
• Own product costing, including bills of material, labor standards, overhead application, and variance analysis.
• Manage manufacturing overhead pools, allocation bases, rates, annual rate setting, monitoring, and true-ups.
• Lead manufacturing budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, and cost models for product introductions, pricing, and program bids.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Management to drive corrective actions and data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of GAAP accounting rules.
• Experience with complex account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Must be a U.S. person under ITAR or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.

Nice to have

• MBA or a relevant professional certification such as CPA or CFA.
• Supervisory or managerial experience.
• Space industry or aerospace experience.
