Cash Analyst (Aerospace)

Location: San Francisco, CA; on-site

Salary: $105,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Track customer receipts and supplier payments against forecasts and identify timing risks.
• Monitor daily cash positions across bank accounts, legal entities, and currencies.
• Prepare weekly cash reporting, including the 13-week cash forecast and updates for founders.
• Analyze cash burn, runway, forecast-to-actual variances, and financial scenarios.
• Support annual and multi-year cash projections with FP&A and collaborate with Accounting and program teams.
• Improve and automate cash management tools and processes, with increasing use of AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Audit, or a related analytical role.
• High proficiency in Excel and strong accuracy with financial data.
• Analytical, curious, and proactive approach with the ability to improve processes and tools.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and collaborate across teams and time zones.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Claude.
• Experience in a project-based or industrial environment, especially aerospace.
• Exposure to bank reconciliations, payment processing, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable.
• Experience with an ERP, preferably NetSuite.
• Experience supporting an international or multi-entity organization.
