TL;DR
FP&A Analyst (Aerospace): Developing and analyzing company-wide financial models, budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and scenario analyses with an accent on profitability, headcount planning, operational metrics, and strategic decision support. Focus on investigating financial anomalies, building pricing and capital expenditure business cases, and streamlining reporting and planning processes.

Location: Remote within the United States or onsite at the headquarters in southeast Houston, Texas; approximately 10% travel for remote employees.

What you will do

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze company-wide financial models.
  • Prepare and coordinate annual operating budgets and forecasts.
  • Build scenario analyses, reporting templates, and KPIs for strategic and operational decisions.
  • Analyze revenue, margins, expenses, working capital, profitability, headcount, and workforce forecasts.
  • Investigate metric anomalies, perform root-cause analyses, and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Support pricing, capital expenditure, process improvement, special projects, and ad hoc financial analyses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to meet U.S. ITAR export-control requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. authorizations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP and financial planning systems.
  • MBA or CPA/CMA certification.
  • Experience in aerospace, early-stage deep tech, innovative manufacturing, or rapid-growth environments.
