Global Supply Manager (Avionics)

Location: Los Angeles, CA. Must be a U.S. person per ITAR regulations. Ability to travel up to 25%.

Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 + equity

What you will do

• Define strategy for sourcing electrical commodities like sensors, PCBs, harnesses, ICs, and SMD components.
• Lead supplier management from onboarding to delivery, including quoting, ordering, issue resolution, and milestone tracking.
• Drive contract negotiations to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Develop supplier scorecards and metrics for consistent performance.
• Align with engineering, quality, production, and finance on procurement strategies.
• Manage purchase orders and materials planning for accuracy.

Requirements

• 8+ years in supply chain management or engineering in aerospace
• 3+ years with electrical schematics and electromechanical systems (harnesses, avionic boxes)
• 3+ years managing BOM for electrical assemblies
• Experience managing electrical suppliers in fast-paced environments
• Strong inventory management for electrical hardware
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, finance
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted
• Bachelor’s in supply chain, finance, electrical/aerospace engineering, or mathematics

Nice to have

• Procuring SMD components, guidance/navigation hardware, solar array materials
• New product introduction experience
• Reading technical engineering drawings
