Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 + equity

What you will do

• Design and implement active and passive thermal control systems, including pump fluid loops and heat pipes.
• Develop and execute thermal cycle and thermal-vacuum (TVAC) testing campaigns.
• Create and maintain state-of-the-art test stands, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Develop testing and control scripts for pump fluid loops and individual components.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability from early prototypes to production.
• Create formal technical documentation, including test procedures, reports, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR export control regulations.
• 5+ years of experience with thermal testing in a high-rate manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience sizing and testing fluid systems (pumps, valves, accumulators, heat exchangers, etc.).
• Proven experience with data acquisition for thermal and power related applications.
• Strong expertise in TVAC testing setup, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in NX or AutoCAD for designing test fixtures.

Nice to have

• Experience with Thermal Desktop for thermal analysis.
• Knowledge of signal conditioning to optimize acquisition rates and signal-to-noise ratios.
• Experience testing refrigeration systems and avionics.
