Senior ASIC Design Verification Engineer (Space)

TL;DR

Senior ASIC Design Verification Engineer (ASIC/Space): Developing and executing verification plans for block, subsystem, and full-chip environments with an accent on SystemVerilog/UVM test benches and functional coverage. Focus on driving constrained-random testing strategies, triage failures, and ensuring end-to-end coverage for first-generation silicon.

Location: Remote (Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR)

Salary: $170,000 – $250,000 + equity

What you will do

• Develop and execute verification plans for block, subsystem, and full-chip environments.
• Build SystemVerilog/UVM test benches, including agents, monitors, scoreboards, and coverage models.
• Drive constrained-random and directed testing strategies to validate functionality and corner cases.
• Triage failures, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with RTL designers for resolution.
• Manage regression testing, simulation farms, and CI pipelines for high throughput.
• Support silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation through test reuse and diagnostics.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification.
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog, UVM, and simulation tools (VCS, Xcelium, or Questa).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, Green Card holder, etc.) due to ITAR export control regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience in space, telecom, or RF/digital mixed systems.
• Familiarity with gate-level simulation and analog behavioral models.
• Understanding of low power verification.
