Senior Integration Assurance Engineer (Aerospace)

Salary: $130,000 - $185,000 + equity

What you will do

• Review models, schematics, drawings, and ICDs to ensure clean integration and protect critical features.
• Collaborate with design/test teams to develop qualification and acceptance strategies including V&V plans and ESS.
• Flow requirements into integration procedures, work instructions, and instrumentation/data capture.
• Lead nonconformance management, corrective/preventive actions, and MRB processes.
• Establish process capability using PFMEA, SPC/MSA; improve yields, ATP pass rates, and retest efficiency.
• Assess supplier capability, manage APQP/PPAP, develop metrics, and represent during customer audits.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, or related field (MS preferred); 7+ years leading integration/test quality projects.
• Hands-on experience with system-level integration and acceptance testing for high-reliability products (aerospace, automotive/EV, medical, robotics).
• Strong fundamentals: ATP development, configuration management, DFMEA/PFMEA, SPC/MSA, 8D/FRACAS; MRB leadership.
• Familiar with AS9100, AS9145/APQP, PPAP; comfortable with PLM/MES (e.g., Teamcenter) and Jira.
• Environmental/functional test experience (vibration, thermal, EMI/EMC) and reliability practices (ESS, FRACAS).
• Able to obtain security clearance if required.

• Supplier development and audits; practical use of GIDEP/DLA resources.
• Background in launch/space systems, UAVs, robotics, automotive EV, or medical devices.
• Building quality systems in a startup (0→1); ASQ CQE/CRE or Six Sigma credentials.
