What you will do

• Lead mechanical and electrical system designs from concept through production and integration.
• Review, check, and approve mechanical and electrical drawings and technical data packages (TDPs).
• Perform and review engineering analyses, including structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis.
• Support prototype builds, First Article Inspection (FAI/AS9102), and production transition.
• Collaborate with fabrication, machining, welding, and electrical teams to resolve shop-floor issues.
• Support proposal development, including labor hour and material cost estimation and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of engineering experience supporting aerospace and/or DoD programs.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance (active clearance preferred).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (CREO, Inventor, and AutoCAD are a plus).
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and design analysis.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and MIL-STD engineering standards.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NAVAIR and NAWCAD processes.
