Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 + bonus

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs for legal, regulatory, and Medicaid requirements while supporting operational efficiency.
• Serve as Compliance and Privacy Officer, acting as primary contact for customer compliance teams and internal ethics advocate.
• Lead responses to customer audits, internal audits, and remediation efforts.
• Provide guidance, training on HIPAA, fraud/abuse, harassment, and state employment laws.
• Manage privacy compliance for PHI/PII, investigate breaches, and monitor regulatory changes.
• Report risks to leadership/board and collaborate cross-functionally to integrate compliance into business strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, law, business, or related field (Juris Doctor or compliance certification preferred).
• 7+ years professional experience, including 3+ years in healthcare compliance/regulatory affairs.
• Working knowledge of healthcare laws like HIPAA and fraud/abuse; quick learner for gaps.
• Experience building compliance programs, audits, risk assessments, investigations, ideally with health plans.
• Cross-functional project management in complex environments; comfortable with ambiguity and multiple priorities.
