Corporate Compliance Officer

TL;DR

Corporate Compliance Officer (AI): Building and executing a bespoke corporate compliance program for a leading AI lab with an accent on anti-bribery/anti-corruption, third-party risk management, and internal investigations. Focus on advising business teams on high-risk interactions, developing AI-assisted workflows, and scaling compliance frameworks responsibly.

Location: Hybrid in New York City, San Francisco, or Washington, DC offices (at least 3 days a week)

Salary: $255,000 - $270,000 USD

What you will do

• Advise business teams on government interactions, gifts & hospitality, third-party risk, and FCPA/UK Bribery Act compliance
• Support Legal on anti-corruption terms in commercial agreements
• Review conflicts of interest, outside activities, and gifts & hospitality
• Serve as ABAC expert for third-party risk management framework
• Conduct and support internal investigations end-to-end
• Develop policies, training, and AI-assisted compliance workflows

Requirements

• Substantial depth in anti-corruption/FCPA/third-party risk from in-house, law firm, or government experience
• Hands-on third-party due diligence: scoping, screening, questionnaires, risk analysis
• Internal investigations experience: evidence review, interviews, findings
• Advising on compliance terms in commercial agreements
• Clear writing and practical business advice
• Independent judgment in ambiguous situations
