What you will do
- Own end-to-end collections process, developing high-accuracy forecasts for senior leadership visibility into cash flow.
- Build and enforce disciplined collections engine, standardizing cadences, eliminating leakage, and achieving zero-loss net collection rates.
- Identify bottlenecks, design workflows to reduce denials and shorten AR lifecycle.
- Partner with growth teams on contract negotiations and serve as closer for complex billing disputes with health plans.
- Act as escalation point for clients, providing transparent updates and building trust through results.
- Sync billing strategies with Finance, Legal, and Ops; drive team KPIs using data for real-time pivots.
- Lead team managing customer billing processes, experience, and communications for patients and health plans.
Requirements
- 8+ years in revenue cycle management, including 2-3 years management experience
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict-resolution skills with health plan partners
- Deep expertise in CMS regulations and commercial payer behaviors
- Experience with EMR, RCM softwares, health plan portals; system migration a plus
- Proven track record of tangible outcomes improving claims collections and data visibility
- High-initiative self-starter thriving in autonomy, player-coach leadership style
