Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote or Hybrid in cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.)
Salary: $90,000 – $145,000

What you will do
- Lead analytical workstreams focused on reimbursement performance, denial management, and payer contract compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive denial analyses to identify systemic root causes and quantify revenue at risk.
- Perform underpayment audits by modeling expected reimbursement against contract terms to support recovery efforts.
- Analyze payer contracts to assess reimbursement adequacy and identify rate discrepancies for renegotiation.
- Build and maintain dynamic reimbursement models, denial trending dashboards, and KPI scorecards using BI tools.
- Research CMS policy changes and commercial payer guidelines to provide informed advisory recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in provider and/or payer analytics.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement methodologies (DRG, APC, RBRVS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex financial modeling and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
- Working knowledge of major EHR systems (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, Athenahealth) and claims data environments.
- Must be based in the United States.
