Architectural Technician (Revit)

Location: Remote – U.S. Based; Department: BIM-VDC, Washington, District of Columbia. Full-time or part-time employment is stated.

What you will do

• Produce accurate architectural drawings and models using Autodesk Revit.
• Convert point cloud data into usable design models through scan-to-BIM workflows.
• Prepare design and construction documentation sets across project phases from schematic design through construction documents.
• Coordinate architectural components with structural, MEP, and survey teams.
• Perform code analysis and support quality control reviews for compliance with applicable standards, including IBC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, B.Arch or M.Arch.
• At least 2 years of professional experience using Autodesk Revit.
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction detailing, and documentation standards.
• Knowledge of IBC and relevant design codes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with multifamily residential projects.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Experience working with point cloud data or 3D laser scan deliverables.
