Dynamics Engineer (Aerospace)

Base salary: $110,000 - $140,000 + equity.

What you will do

• Drive subsystem-level dynamic testing including planning, coordination, analysis, and model correlation.
• Develop physics models using finite element analysis or custom software.
• Create software tools for data processing and simulation frameworks.
• Collaborate with design engineers, analysts, and customers to develop satellite products.
• Apply first principles to dynamics and non-dynamics analyses and contribute to code reviews.
• Provide data-driven guidance through analysis, test, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or mathematics.
• 1+ years of work experience in dynamics from industry, research, internships, or projects.
• Must be a U.S. person per ITAR export control regulations.
• Strong understanding of low and high frequency dynamics (vibration, shock, modal testing).
• Experience with testing, measurements, and finite element analysis software (e.g., FEMAP, Nastran).
• Software development experience in Python; knowledge of digital signal processing, statistics, and structural mechanics.

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or mathematics.
