Salary: $180,000 - $220,000

What you will do

• Assemble, configure, and integrate effector hardware, firmware, and software into functional systems.
• Plan and execute integration and test procedures at component, subsystem, and system levels.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, fixtures, and environments.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues across hardware, firmware, and embedded software.
• Support field integration, on-site testing, and customer demonstrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and refine I&T best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of experience in integration and test engineering or embedded systems.
• Strong hands-on prototype hardware skills including wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for test automation and data analysis.
• Experience configuring embedded subsystems like GPS, telemetry radios, and flight controllers.
• Solid understanding of drone system architecture and communication protocols (MAVLink, CAN, UART).

Nice to have

• Direct experience with UAS platforms or unmanned effector systems.
• Familiarity with flight controller software like PX4 or ArduPilot.
• Experience with HIL/SIL simulation and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of RF systems, sensor fusion, or environmental qualification testing (MIL-STD).
• FAA Part 107 certification.
