TL;DR
Business Development Manager SMB: Manage and grow Dutch-speaking SMB partners in Flanders, combining relationship management (farming) with reactivation of dormant accounts (hunting). Focus on advising customers on IT and cloud solutions, owning end-to-end commercial processes from pricing to order management, and collaborating with internal teams for seamless customer experience.
Location: Diegem, Belgium (Flanders region, primarily Dutch-speaking clients, regular on-site visits 6-7 per week)

What you will do
- Manage and grow SMB partners, primarily Dutch-speaking clients in Flanders
- Build long-term relationships, act as trusted advisor, and reactivate dormant accounts
- Develop deep knowledge of vendors' solutions to advise on IT (±80% traditional) and cloud (±20%) technologies
- Own end-to-end commercial process: pricing, quotations, deal follow-up, and order management
- Proactively communicate product availability, lifecycle changes, and special offers
- Collaborate with inside sales, business unit managers, cloud, and finance teams
Requirements
- Fluent Dutch (essential), good command of English; French is a plus
- At least 4 years in IT sales, distribution, account management, or inside sales (SMB, field sales, or business development preferred)
- Commercial, customer-focused mindset with drive, curiosity, and ownership
- Ability to work autonomously in the field managing your portfolio
- Strong communication, planning, and relationship-building skills
- Solid PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel); CRM experience advantage
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on technologies
