What you will do

• Lead and monitor the delivery of scope, schedule, and technical requirements for backend systems.
• Plan and execute technical roadmaps for new projects independently without explicit guidance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover constraints and evolve ambiguous products.
• Improve system maintainability through refactoring, documentation, and automated testing.
• Participate in technical depth interviews for new candidates.
• Present technical implementations and trade-offs to inform business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Django.
• Extensive experience integrating APIs and building backend processes from the ground up.
• Expert-level capabilities in at least one major technology stack.
• Authorized to work in the US (nationwide)

Nice to have

• Experience with other backend languages and frameworks.
• Prior government contracting experience.
