Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 a year

What you will do

• Build, optimize, and maintain core Django services and RESTful APIs.
• Design scalable and secure system architectures to support marketplace growth.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold high engineering standards and best practices.
• Manage and optimize Postgres databases to ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional pods and contribute to occasional React-based frontend tasks.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve platform bugs and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Advanced experience building backend systems with Python and Django.
• Hands-on proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambdas.
• Strong command of Postgres or similar relational databases.
• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and complete the E-Verify process.
• Comfortability jumping into React-based frontend tasks when needed.
