What you will do

• Build and develop hirify.global's Attribute Enrichment and Badges product features
• Design high-throughput, low-latency services for heavy traffic
• Deploy high-available services in the cloud with CI/CD pipelines (AWS, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Set up observability, monitoring, metrics, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, AWS CloudWatch)
• Manage dedicated database for enriched items, metadata, and attributes ensuring consistency, performance, and availability
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for backend services
• Collaborate with ML engineers to optimize services and integrate with Search and Browse APIs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong computer science background and familiarity with networking principles
• Proficiency in Python and backend development patterns
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining highload real-time services and public APIs
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Pytest, unittest, or equivalent
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
• Excellent English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases, distributed systems, and caching solutions
• Experience with compiled languages (e.g. Go, Rust)
