What you will do

• Review engineering drawings, SolidWorks models, BOMs, and specifications to understand product design and assembly.
• Collaborate with technicians and manufacturing engineers to capture best practices, sequences, tooling, and quality checkpoints.
• Create and maintain assembly instructions, manufacturing instructions, work instructions, and visual aids like photos, diagrams, and exploded views.
• Continuously improve documentation based on feedback, production issues, and process changes.
• Participate in design and build reviews, support new product introduction, and maintain document control per quality requirements.
• Utilize tools, video, AI, and modern technologies for efficient user-friendly instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Technical Writing, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong attention to detail for system-level and assembly-level execution.
• Ability to translate complex engineering info into clear, concise, technician-friendly instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings; SolidWorks experience desirable.
