What you will do

• Book a wide variety of national and international newsmakers, experts, and guests from politics, foreign relations, business, health, entertainment, and more.
• Conduct pre-interviews, secure facilities for remote interviews, and arrange guest transportation.
• Arrange interviews for live and breaking news broadcasts.
• Enterprise, conceptualize, and pitch story ideas.
• Coordinate with technical managers on studio logistics for live and taped interviews.
• Work on content for digital platforms, social media, and MS NOW’s DTC products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in live television, preferably cable news, including researching and tracking down guests.
• Must be willing to work in Washington, D.C.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.
