What you will do

• Own and run ERM framework and risk appetite, including assessments, stress testing, and Board reporting.
• Provide independent oversight on new products, changes, and initiatives; act as regulator contact.
• Design and maintain internal control framework for payments, liquidity, ICT, outsourcing, and incidents.
• Lead risk-based testing, monitoring incidents, control weaknesses, and audit findings.
• Deliver pragmatic risk advice to enable compliant product shipping.
• Build risk culture via training, guidance, and clear communication.

Requirements

• 7+ years in risk management in financial services, fintech, or payments, ideally Dutch/European market
• Strong regulatory landscape understanding
• Hands-on ERM and internal control frameworks experience, preferably in tech/high-growth
• Fintech, payments, or regulated FS background preferred
• Exceptional communication to simplify complex requirements
• Analytical, pragmatic, stakeholder-focused with sound judgment
