Senior SW Engineer (USA based)

Location: Remote for candidates residing in the United States, with a required 1–2 week onboarding onsite in Los Angeles/Santa Monica

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and build hirify.global’s core pre-service product with the founder, product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Build and ship critical features with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and product quality.
• Own features end to end, from requirements and implementation through testing, observability, deployment, and production iteration.
• Contribute to engineering culture and continuous improvement as the team grows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and operating complex web applications in production.
• Strong backend development experience, preferably with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Comfort working across the stack; React experience is valuable for building user-facing experiences.
• Ability to own features from loosely defined ideas through production impact and iteration.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
