What you will do

• Build AI-powered document processing pipelines for real-time extraction, classification, and enrichment of unstructured clinical data.
• Operationalize LLM orchestration patterns, including prompt management, output validation, guardrails, and continuous evaluation.
• Develop agentic systems and AI-assisted decisioning to replace manual coordination with intelligent automation.
• Establish AI platform foundations, including shared data contracts and quality standards to ensure reliable AI systems.
• Lead and grow a distributed engineering team based in the US and Mexico.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and Application teams to map AI capabilities to tangible business outcomes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing senior engineers or platform teams.
• Proven track record of shipping production-grade AI systems with monitoring, fallbacks, and reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience operationalizing LLMs for tasks such as document extraction, classification, and summarization.
• Experience operating in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience managing distributed teams across US and Mexico time zones.
