What you will do

• Build and iterate on AI-powered product experiences within Bits AI SRE, including chat and automated remediations.
• Develop customer-facing systems to help users resolve production issues more quickly through guided workflows and codefixes.
• Implement prompts and evaluation loops to ensure applied AI workflows are reliable and production-ready.
• Build the infrastructure and logic required to connect AI outputs to operational actions and code changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand remediation capabilities and integrate with investigation systems.
• Apply latest developments in LLM prompting and agent design to production environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go or similar backend languages.
• Practical experience building and productionizing LLM-based systems.
• Expertise in prompt engineering, evaluation, and iterative improvement of AI quality.
• Must be eligible for required authorizations from the US government to conform to export control regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to use and refine AI coding tools in daily workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with systems related to production remediation and operational automation.
