Senior Applied Scientist (AI/ML): Building and owning production machine learning models for Bing and Consumer Copilot with an accent on generative modeling and large-scale optimization. Focus on implementing SOTA generative models (Llama, Qwen, GPT), experimental prompt tuning, and processing petabyte-scale data.

Location: Mountain View, United States. Must be based within a 50-mile commute of a designated hirify.global office in the U.S. and work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: $158,400 – $258,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and own production ML models to improve search and Copilot results.
• Work with SOTA generative models like Qwen, Llama, Mistral, and GPT to deliver high-impact features.
• Form hypotheses and find insights on large-scale data using NLP, optimization, and statistical techniques.
• Perform professional prompt engineering with large LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, and Claude.
• Design experiments and produce actionable, trustworthy conclusions from complex data.
• Wrangle petabyte-scale data using Python, C#, R, C++, Java, and SQL.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + 4+ years experience, Master's + 3+ years, or PhD + 1+ year in Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in statistics, predictive analytics, or research.
• Must pass hirify.global Cloud Background Check every two years.
• Proficient oral and writing skills.
