What you will do

• Lead technical direction for high-impact applied AI investments and products.
• Collaborate across teams to translate conceptual ideas into shipped production systems.
• Design and implement evaluation pipelines for human alignment, factual accuracy, and model interpretability.
• Develop advanced LLM integration patterns using RAG, tool/function calling, and memory routing.
• Build and optimize AIOps, data pipelines, and observability systems for continuous model improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of AI/ML development experience with a proven track record of product success.
• 5+ years of deep experience in Python and 2+ years with a backend language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Go).
• Hands-on experience with foundation models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, or Gemini.
• Expertise in AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy, Haystack) and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus).
• Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Machine Learning or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering secure AI solutions in regulated environments (HIPAA, GDPR).
• 5+ years of public cloud experience (AWS, GCP) and experience scaling distributed systems.
• Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or applied research in NLP, GenAI safety, or healthcare AI.
• Familiarity with human-in-the-loop systems and clinical decision support frameworks.
