What you will do

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping using Xero.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure financial record accuracy.
• Prepare and assist with Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Process and manage Australian payroll in compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, including timely follow-ups.
• Collaborate with external accountants for reporting and compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping for Australian businesses.
• Strong proficiency in Xero.
• Solid understanding of Australian payroll and BAS compliance.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on proactive updates.
