Salary: $119,900 – $219,800

What you will do

• Resolve escalated incidents in distributed computing architecture across client servers, hardware, and cloud resources.
• Support the migration of markets applications and infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Enhance alerting and observability to drive faster detection and data-driven decision-making.
• Develop automated solutions to eliminate manual toil and improve system scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with SRE and Product teams to optimize infrastructure performance for global markets.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience administering and troubleshooting the Linux Operating System.
• Proven expertise in managing complex distributed systems, clustering, and hardware resource optimization.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with SRE principles, incident response, and change management.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site 2 days per week in Chicago or New York.
