Salary: $105,000 - $135,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead administration, configuration, and maintenance of RHEL servers in virtual and physical environments.
• Manage VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation, deploying and optimizing VMs and hosts.
• Troubleshoot BMC TrueSight Server Automation scripts and ensure compliance.
• Engineer Ansible playbooks for automation and infrastructure as code.
• Implement security controls, harden systems per DISA STIGs, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Monitor performance, perform root cause analysis, and develop technical documentation.

Requirements

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security).
• Active Secret Clearance.
• 5+ years senior-level Linux engineering with RHEL expertise.
• Strong VMware vSphere proficiency for virtualized environments.
• Experience with complex Ansible playbooks and DISA STIG hardening.
• High proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.
• ServiceNow administration in large-scale environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. Coast Guard or DHS programs.
• BMC TrueSight Server Automation hands-on experience.
• Red Hat (RHCE/RHCSA) or VMware (VCP) certifications.
• Knowledge of VMware Aria, containerization (OpenShift/Docker/Kubernetes), or cloud (AWS/Azure).
• JavaScript and REST APIs (Infoblox DDI, Tenable).
