Collections Account Manager (Healthcare Billing)

Location: Remote, non-U.S.; requires at least 5 hours of overlap with PST (UTC-8)

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of complex and high-value workplace customer accounts.
• Handle billing concerns, invoice disputes, payments, remittances, and past-due balances.
• Conduct high volumes of outbound calls and negotiate solutions with customers.
• Evaluate tradeoffs between risk mitigation, growth potential, collections speed, and customer experience.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare providers and executives through clear billing communication.
• Relay customer feedback and collaborate on billing initiatives, system improvements, and trials.

Requirements

• Strong ownership of billing issues and their resolution.
• Curiosity to investigate root causes and identify effective solutions.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Ability to communicate billing processes and invoicing procedures clearly.
• Reliable laptop or desktop, wired internet connection of at least 20 Mbps, wired headset, quiet workspace, and stable power and internet connectivity required.
• Chromebooks and Linux operating systems are not supported.

Nice to have

• Finance or accounting knowledge is helpful but not required.
