TL;DR

Business Development Executive (Sales): Driving the growth of the food waste-fighting marketplace in Australia by acquiring national Key Account partners and onboarding their stores with an accent on scalable sales strategies and stakeholder management. Focus on developing insight-led pitches, managing the full acquisition cycle, and expanding the partner network to reduce food waste.

Location: Hybrid (Melbourne or Sydney, Australia)

What you will do

  • Identify new business opportunities and build rapport with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Execute the full acquisition cycle, from initial outreach via calls and visits to the sign-up process.
  • Develop tailored account strategies and execution plans to ensure scalable roll-outs for national partners.
  • Create and deliver insight-led pitches focusing on commercial value and sustainability impact.
  • Onboard and train store managers and staff on hirify.global systems and products.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience with the ability to nurture leads and win business.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders via email, phone, and face-to-face.
  • Knowledge of the Australian hospitality, retail, or grocery sectors.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and meet ambitious targets and KPIs.
  • Must be based in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia

Nice to have

  • Experience in food supply chain manufacturing or supermarket sectors.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and Google Workspace for performance reporting.
