What you will do

• Lead the month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring the overall completeness and accuracy of the general ledger for multiple entities.
• Manage the accounting operations team covering lease and loan accounting, tax equity partnerships, and revenue recognition.
• Partner with FP&A and tax teams to ensure forecasting models reflect accurate financial data and current business activity.
• Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external and internal auditors, managing audit timelines and coordinating responses.
• Identify and implement process improvements and support financial system enhancements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across public and corporate accounting roles, including public company or investment fund experience.
• Experience in the financial services or renewable energy industry.
• Active CPA license and Bachelor's degree in accounting are required.
• Prior supervisory experience leading accounting teams.
• Strong proficiency in Excel data analysis and financial valuation concepts (DCF, NPV, IRR).
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Houston, TX.
