TL;DR

Tax Analyst (Finance): Coordinating property tax returns and supporting tax research and planning for a renewable energy portfolio with an accent on asset data retrieval and compliance. Focus on managing tax payments, calculating landowner reimbursements, and collaborating across finance and accounting functions.

Location: Hybrid (Scottsdale, AZ). Must be based in or near Scottsdale, AZ. Clearway will not sponsor non-immigrant visas for this position.

Salary: $77,000 – $86,000 USD

What you will do

  • Coordinate and submit property tax returns for the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Retrieve and analyze fixed asset, inventory, and CIP data to support tax filings.
  • Manage tax bills and notices of value while maintaining the internal Payment Tracker.
  • Execute timely tax payments via SRP/Fiori and USPS Certified Mail.
  • Perform accurate landowner reimbursement calculations.
  • Collaborate with accounting, business development, finance, and asset management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a similar academic degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property tax, including accounting, corporate, or government roles.
  • Academic coursework in property valuation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Valid US work authorization; no visa sponsorship (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.) provided.

Nice to have

  • Professional designations from IPT, Appraisal Institute, IAAO, or ASA.
  • Experience working within the renewable energy sector.
