What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI product features from initial concept through production.
• Architect systems that orchestrate LLMs, retrieval (RAG), and structured data.
• Establish and improve evaluation frameworks and feedback loops to systematically increase AI output quality.
• Lead technical direction within product areas and guide execution across multiple engineers.
• Mentor team members to raise the bar for code quality, system design, and product thinking.
• Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate team velocity and productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling product-facing systems.
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code, with a preference for Python.
• Experience working with AI/LLM-powered systems in production.
• Proven track record of owning complex product features end-to-end.
• Ability to set technical direction and operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Seattle, WA.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with prompting, evaluation, and RAG.
• Experience designing systems that balance latency, cost, and quality.
• Exposure to user feedback loops, experimentation, or evaluation frameworks.
