Senior Software Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (AI): Building next-generation intelligent consumer experiences and AI systems with an accent on integrating advanced hardware, connectivity, and AI. Focus on developing LLM applications and leveraging open-source LLM projects for seamless everyday experiences.

Location: Suzhou, China. This is a hybrid role, requiring at least four days per week in the office if residing within a 25-mile commute of a Microsoft office, starting January 26, 2026.

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and drive the development of design documents.
• Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability.
• Leverage product feature expertise and partner with stakeholders to drive project and release plans.
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding other engineers and monitoring system/product/service for degradation or interruptions.
• Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with LLM products and development in LLM applications.
• Familiarity with various open-source LLM projects, such as Dify/CrewAI.
