What you will do

• Lead all inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations, including X-ray, FPI, and Ultrasonic processes.
• Supervise the metallurgical lab and coordinate work assignments across receiving, strip, and final inspection phases.
• Act as the Management Representative to ensure total compliance with AS/ISO standards and internal Quality Systems Manuals.
• Perform comprehensive reviews of shop travelers and technical manuals to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Manage employee certifications, mentoring, and performance evaluations for promotion levels.
• Implement Lean and Continuous Improvement principles to optimize inspection throughput and workspace organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5–8 years of current aerospace industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of aerospace turbine engine repair processes and analytical problem-solving.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams in a production or repair environment.
• Must be capable of certifying to Level II in at least one NDT discipline.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Carson City, NV.
• High proficiency in reading and interpreting complex specifications and procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience with Part 145/21 certification inspections.
• Eligibility for industry-specific repair certifications, such as FAA Repairman.
