Location: Loveland, Ohio, United States; onsite at the Loveland facility
Company
designs, develops, and manufactures jet propulsion systems for unmanned aerial defense using additive manufacturing.
What you will do
- Perform advanced dimensional and visual inspections using manual and automated metrology equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to verify product conformity.
- Create, validate, and execute CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software.
- Develop inspection methods, standard work, and quality documentation for customer and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze inspection data, investigate quality issues, and implement corrective actions with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
- Maintain customer data packets, certificates of conformance, calibration records, nonconformance records, and other QMS documentation; support audits and mentor less experienced technicians.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- At least four years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, or a similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
- At least two years of programming and operating CMMs, including PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent software.
- Advanced knowledge of metrology, inspection principles, manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, GD&T, QMS, calibration systems, and document control.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.
Nice to have
- Experience in additive manufacturing, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience with Keyence measurement systems, GOM scanners, ERP, or QMS software.
- Internal auditing, supplier quality, root cause investigation, Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma experience.
- Experience mentoring technicians and developing inspection best practices.
