Quality Assurance Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Grand Prairie, Texas, United States; 80% onsite when not traveling. Travel required: 20% domestic and international.

What you will do

• Lead a team of 13 QA inspectors supporting Blades, Dynamic Component Repair, NDT, and Tail Boom operations.
• Set operational quality goals and manage KPIs, product flow, backlogs, departmental budgets, and large-scale projects.
• Oversee the quality management system, procedural compliance, internal and external audits, and timely disposition of nonconformities.
• Ensure inspector competency and compliance with FAA, AS9100, EASA, Transport Canada, UK CAA, ASNT, EN, and hirify.global standards.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, zero-escape quality, First Pass Yield, Andon, Quality Gate, PDCA, and PPS improvements.
• Lead digital documentation initiatives, including electronic signatures, while supporting career development and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• At least 10 years of aerospace industry experience and 5 years in a management role.
• Valid and current Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
• Extensive knowledge of helicopter MRO components, aerospace quality systems, and special processes.
• Experience leading complex assignments, managing $1M+ project cost and schedules, and handling shifting priorities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
