What you will do

• Determine the airworthiness of completed work by examining aircraft, engines, components, and materials.
• Process daily incoming and outgoing materials according to quality control and customer requirements.
• Verify that overhauls, inspections, and repairs comply with applicable manuals and FAA 14 CFR requirements.
• Record inspection results and interface with suppliers and product lines to disposition rejected items.
• Apply strong judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail when investigating complex quality issues.

Requirements

• FAA Airframe rating required; FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings preferred.
• At least 3 years of inspector experience with fixed-wing transport aircraft such as Boeing 737, ERJ 175, or Airbus aircraft.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree, relevant technical education, or equivalent experience and training is accepted.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluent English in speech, reading, and writing is required.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, lifting, working at heights, and working in varying weather conditions.
