What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of high-severity large loss claims from first notice through repair completion.
  • Interpret insurance policies, forms, and state statutes to determine coverage and company exposure.
  • Desk review and approve damage estimates for structural mitigation, remediation, and repairs.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations using recorded statements, expert consultations, and documentation review.
  • Negotiate settlements and coordinate with public adjusters, attorneys, and vendors.
  • Maintain clear and concise claim documentation, diary notes, and official correspondence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of first-party residential property claims adjusting experience.
  • Prior experience handling large loss claims is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to live and work full-time in one of the 40 approved US states.
  • Deep knowledge of residential construction, damage identification, and order of operations.
  • Experience worhirify.globalg directly for an insurance carrier and handling pre-litigation claims.
  • Proficiency with Verisk suite, ISO ClaimSearch, and Google Suite.
