What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end process of closing claim files, including obtaining releases and final invoices.
• Ensure all deductibles or SIRs are satisfied and correctly noted before file closure.
• Document claim files meticulously with all relevant correspondence and notes in line with company policy.
• Coordinate with customers and defense counsel to facilitate the closing of files.
• Handle timely submission of invoices for payment and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide high-quality customer service to internal partners and external insureds.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in the insurance industry or a related field with transferable skills.
• Basic knowledge of insurance claims handling practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Atlanta, Scottsdale, Connecticut, Boston, or New York.
• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
