TL;DR

Sr Account Executive (Cybersecurity/SaaS): Managing a defined sales territory for higher education institutions to identify, generate, and close new business with an accent on the full sales lifecycle and go-to-market strategy. Focus on proactively prospecting for PAM and Identity Management solutions and exceeding annual quota goals.

Location: Must reside in Texas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oklahoma, or Kansas

What you will do

  • Manage and grow accounts within the higher education sector across a defined territory.
  • Execute a comprehensive territory sales plan to meet or exceed monthly and annual quotas.
  • Lead the full end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing.
  • Collaborate with SEs, PAMs, the Channel team, and SDRs to deliver territory objectives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, deliver detailed presentations, and lead RFP responses.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and customer business strategies within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience in security, PAM, Identity Management, or IT-related software.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas specifically within higher education accounts.
  • Experience collaborating with partners, resellers, and regional distributors.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com for pipeline and data management.
  • Must be based in Texas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oklahoma, or Kansas.

  • Completion of relevant professional sales training.
  • Deep domain knowledge of PAM and identity management software.
