Sr Account Executive (Cybersecurity/SaaS): Managing a defined sales territory for higher education institutions to identify, generate, and close new business with an accent on the full sales lifecycle and go-to-market strategy. What you will do
- Manage and grow accounts within the higher education sector across a defined territory.
- Execute a comprehensive territory sales plan to meet or exceed monthly and annual quotas.
- Lead the full end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing.
- Collaborate with SEs, PAMs, the Channel team, and SDRs to deliver territory objectives.
- Conduct product demonstrations, deliver detailed presentations, and lead RFP responses.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and customer business strategies within Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
- 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience in security, PAM, Identity Management, or IT-related software.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas specifically within higher education accounts.
- Experience collaborating with partners, resellers, and regional distributors.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com for pipeline and data management.
- Must be based in Texas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oklahoma, or Kansas.
