Salary: $133,000 - $391,500 USD

What you will do

• Hire, onboard, and grow a high-performing engineering team of 4-8 engineers in the US.
• Lead the planning and execution of the AI Agent product roadmap, ensuring low latency and high accuracy.
• Perform code reviews and guide software architecture and technical decisions for LLM-based systems.
• Partner with Product, SRE, and Support teams to foster a culture of operational excellence and reliability.
• Drive the adoption of modern AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Define and review SLIs/SLOs to maintain uptime and performance for production services.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco office (Hybrid).
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing software engineering teams.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise SaaS software.
• Strong background in distributed systems and Java/JVM-based backend systems.
• Experience or exposure to GenAI/LLM-based systems.

Nice to have

• 1-2 years of experience building AI Agent platforms for CX, including voicebots, chatbots, and AI assistants.
• Experience building SaaS platforms in GCP public cloud environments.
