Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year

Provides technology and AI expertise for a United States Secret Service contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security.

What you will do

• Serve as the core technical AI expert supporting the stand-up and operation of the USSS AI Team.
• Evaluate AI technologies, platforms, and use cases for mission alignment, technical feasibility, security, ethics, and risk.
• Lead proof-of-concept development, prototyping, vendor evaluation, and solution architecture guidance.
• Contribute to the AI Strategy and three-year roadmap by assessing emerging technologies and capability gaps.
• Develop AI implementation playbooks, workflows, decision frameworks, and responsible AI guidance.
• Support AI governance, model lifecycle management, knowledge transfer, and capability building for OCIO personnel.

Requirements

• BA/BS and 15 years of experience in AI/ML technology implementation and strategy; equivalent experience combinations are considered.
• Ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Expertise in AI/ML technologies including NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, generative AI, and deep learning.
• Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and operationalizing AI/ML solutions in enterprise or government environments.
• Experience developing AI use cases, conducting feasibility assessments, and building business cases.
• Strong understanding of AI ethics, responsible AI principles, federal AI guidelines, and AI risk management.
