What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts for infrastructure investments.
• Optimize infrastructure cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities to support scaling.
• Establish and maintain KPIs and financial metrics to track infrastructure performance.
• Lead financial capacity planning and provide strategic recommendations on resource allocation.
• Oversee financial reporting, variance analysis, and establish robust governance frameworks.
• Develop talent and foster collaboration with engineering, operations, and product teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with 5+ years focused on infrastructure or cloud hardware finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering; MBA or CFA is highly preferred.
• Expert proficiency in financial modeling and deep understanding of cloud infrastructure economics.
• Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco or Los Angeles in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience at hyperscalers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Meta, Microsoft, or Oracle.
• Ability to forecast technological shifts and their financial implications 3+ years ahead.
• Proven track record of influencing senior technical leaders and bridging the gap between engineering and accounting.
