What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for R&D and G&A, partnering with department heads to build bottoms-up plans.
• Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month operating model reflecting real business dynamics.
• Serve as the primary finance partner for R&D and G&A leaders to support decisions on headcount, vendor spend, and resource allocation.
• Analyze and track core SaaS KPIs (ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV) to inform strategic planning and scenario analysis.
• Own and improve FP&A processes, reporting frameworks, and BI tooling with a bias toward automation.
• Drive the monthly close process in partnership with Accounting, including variance analysis and management reporting.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience with end-to-end ownership of the planning cycle.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manager or senior IC role.
• Expert-level financial modeling skills.
• Experience with SQL, AI tooling, and working with large data-sets.
• Proficiency with NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake, or equivalent ERP/CRM systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Deep fluency in SaaS business models and unit economics.
• Background in cybersecurity, enterprise software, or infrastructure SaaS.
• Familiarity with FP&A platforms such as Pigment, Adaptive Insights, or Planful.
• Proficiency with modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance automation and analysis.
• MBA degree.
